Patients eligible for this service must meet the following requirements:

  • Have severe treatment-refractory hypertriglyceridemia, defined here as a minimum of two consecutive fasting triglyceride levels of ≥880 mg/dL or 10 mmol/L at 
the time of screening, AND
  • The absence of secondary causes or medical conditions known to 
cause HTG
